Unlike most posts on this blog, I should remind the readers that this technically is a blog for school, where I write daily about whatever I wish to speak about. Unlike normally I will not be speaking about revival, and the love of God, this time I will be speaking about an assignment I was given in class which involves speaking about the events of a situation, as well as my interactions with such events over the period of 45 minutes. These are the events of that period as well as my interactions.
First I decided that because of my lack of breakfast earlier this morning, I would try to ingest some nurturance for nourishment. Wondering what kind of place on campus would offer such satisfaction, I turned my attention to the most logical choice, the cafeteria. In the cafeteria I found few people to be present, there was the staff who was serving the food, but even they were in scarce numbers. Being a man and working on my college degree I found the intelligence to put together a bagel, some tater tots with bacon, and a bowl of fruit. I completed my meal with spreadable cream cheese that complemented my bagel, as well as a glass of water to help it all go down smooth. As I brought my tray of edible goodness to the cutlery bar, I decided to grab some ketchup for my tots however after I received my ketchup I decided that I was going to be different and use chopsticks that were made available to me at the cutlery bar to use for eating my delicious breakfast. I brought my tray to a table which was made for seating 8 people, 5 of these people were present and occupying chairs, I sat down in their company, thanked Jesus for the food that had been provided for me, and dug in.
I started with the tater tots because it seems that deep fried food draws attention, even at 9:30 in the morning. Using my skill of hand at chopsticks, I successfully grabbed the tot, and dipped it into the ketchup I had on my tray. I continued to eat the tots on my plate while occasionally grabbing a piece of bacon and, with some difficulty, using chopsticks to eat it. After fighting with bacon for a shot while, I turned my attention over to the much healthier side of my meal, the bowl of fruit. In this bowl was an assortment of two kinds of fruit, there was the delicious watermelon, and the juicy fresh cut strawberries. Being a fan of both these fruits I decided to take a stab at my favourite of the two, the strawberries. It was a taste sensation which could have been enhanced if I didn’t have the mixed taste of bacon and tater tots in my mouth already. None the less they tasted amazing, and the meal satisfied for the breaking of the nightly fast. All in all it was a good meal. I took my tray to the kitchen, cleaned it up, and left the cafeteria, a slightly heavier man (due to the weight of the food).
